Due to the rapid growth of technology in the healthcare arena, we have recently seen a surge in entities entering the marketplace. These entities range from medical supply companies to new physicians moving into the area. The advertising dollars of these parties are mostly spent in print and radio marketing. While this may reach a large public audience, we feel that it is not reaching the physician market. This physician market is a vital target since most new patients visit doctors or conduct business with other organizations due to referral. Our goal, through the use of Physician Referral Programs, is to focus our marketing efforts on physicians by way of walk on and cold call sales approaches, delivering the customized message from the client.
The advantage to the client is that once the message has been delivered to the target physicians, they will be more likely to refer their patients. Based on the recommendation of the physician with whom they have a strong relationship, patients are much more likely to become customers of the client.
The advantage to the physician includes a more diverse choice of places to refer patients, thus improving patient care, and patient satisfaction.
